About The Gate of English

The Gate of English is an English club which focuses on fun English learning that existed on February 16, 2014 behind AAC Dayan Dawood. We are not only focus on speaking but also focus on listening, reading, and writing. Even though we do not focus on grammar, we still learn it step by step.

Every week we have an assignment for writing that we should publish our English writing (at least 200 words) on members own blog or facebook note and submit it on TGE facebook group. If the members do not hand in their task, they have to do more writing next week. It means that they have to finish the writing task for this week, and another one for the punishment. We also have to collect money Rp.2000/week for money supply.



We will hold this event every Saturday at 15.00. The members who come late 10 minutes after the club begin, they will accept the punishment; they have to write one essay. If they come late 15 minutes after the club start, the absent will not be valid even though they might join the club, and the members who do not join the club for three times, we will remove them from TGE members.
